BATAA GANBAT

WHO IS BATAA?

A little boy from Mongolia...

My name is Bataa. I have been living in New Zealand for eight years. I still remember the day I arrived in NZ. When I landed in the biggest city of this country, I was shocked. It was totally green, kind of a tropical warm place compared to my home country of Mongolia.
I really liked the place. Few days later, I enrolled in a primary school and my new teacher introduced me to my classmates, but I couldn't even talk with my new friends because of my poor English. I tried hard for the next few months and caught up with them.
I graduated from my high school last year with excellence and enrolled in engineering at the University of Auckland
Most importantly, I started my online business 2 years ago and learnt a lot. Now I want to help business owners to get more customers online. If you need my help, I am happy to help you!

SCHOOL YEARS

Windy Ridge Primary School. My primary days were quite short. I was in primary for only 1 year before I started intermediate. But it was quite an eventful year I felt like. There were so many physical activities to do and being from Mongolian schooling where it’s way too cold to do any proper activities and I was an 11 year old kid who had never run anywhere except the fridge. So that was the biggest change when I came to New Zealand schooling but it was a change that was fun and I enjoyed thoroughly.
Glenfield Intermediate School. Intermediate was only two years but I felt like a lot of who I am now came from those two years. I started to play basketball, became friends with people that are still my best friends to this day and most importantly I fell in love with the art of Public Speaking. I remember seeing my friend go up in front of the class and deliver a speech that had the entire classroom laughing, having fun while still delivering his message only through his words. So I wrote my own speech while barely being able to speak English and performed my speech in front of my class. It wasn’t that good but some kids laughed at the jokes and some told me that I agreed with my points. From then on, creating speeches, delivering them, watching people be entertained, inspired or relate to the stories of my life was the start to me starting my Facebook page. MY WAY OF LIFE.
Glenfield College. Now COLLEGE. OH WOW COLLEGE was something else for me. Academically I still tried my best and I received the Proximate Dux Award for being 2nd place out of my year group.  But the biggest focus for me during college was learning how to be social and to interact with people properly.
Basically soft skills. I realised in my first year of college that I can have a “negative” first impression to people I meet for the first time. Other than the friends I had from intermediate, I struggled to make new ones. So I would observe my friends who are more “socially inept” and see how they talk to people and the biggest thing I learnt was they listened to what others say.
After I understood that, everything came to place and I was able to make friends so much easier and also deepen the friendships I had before. Getting all the awards for academics and sports was all fun but to me the most memorable part of college was the times when me and my friends would goof around and have stupid arguments in class and laugh until we couldn’t breathe.

THE UNIVERSITY OF AUCKLAND

Five years of college flew by and now we are here in 2021. I enrolled into the University of Auckland Engineering Honours. Engineering was like a slap to my face.

The workload and the sheer amount of hours you have to put in to pass the course was quite surreal. It would be an understatement to say I struggled. But I kept up and I attempted every assignment and test to the best of abilities.

Now I can say that I’ve gotten used to the workload and I am quite content with university life. Other than just academics, I’ve been focusing on volleyball and I think I really fell in love with the sport. Playing volleyball is something that I look forward to every week and I’m glad I’ve found a sport that I enjoy this much.

Finally as I am writing this, I’m focusing on some business adventures like what I’m offering you today and my social media pages called MY WAY OF LIFE and also through my social media page, I have interviews with people from Mongolia in English so they can practice having conversations and improve their English.

That’s a quick summary of my life, and if you choose to work with me and let me help you with your marketing business, I am looking forward to meeting you and hearing about your life and why you have chosen to start a business.
